The Baja California peninsula is home to many forms of life found nowhere else on earth, including more than 160 different amphibians and reptiles species. This, combined with rugged, diverse, and inaccessible terrain, the area is one of the last true biological frontiers of North America.
There will be numerous opportunities to encounter California's special-status species through hands-on experiences complemented with theoretical knowledge.
The leaders of this workshop bring a wealth of expertise, boasting decades of experience in surveying and assessing the species that live in this place. With a great understanding of their behavior, they excel in locating occupied territories. Their shared knowledge enhances the workshop involvement so you can get valuable insights into the intricacies of their life cycles and ecological interactions.
Participants are given the flexibility to arrive, explore, and engage in a way that best fits their preferences.
